One of the hoses to the pump came loose causing a majority of water to flow out of the pond this week. By the time it was discovered and water added our fish were extremely stressed. Our white Koi didn't make it. The orange Koi did, but isn't out of danger yet. She appears to be quite sad about the loss of her mate. We are all sad too. Silly how attached we become to our fish.

Pond problems this week...
One of the hoses to the pump came loose causing a majority of water to flow out of the pond this week. By the time it was discovered and water added our fish were extremely stressed. I'm sorry about your fish! That's why we have an empty pond; I don't want to get attached!
What a bummer! I am so sorry. I'm bummed when my fish die, too. I can't imagine what I'll be like when one of my dogs goes! :( I hope your orange fish pulls through!
